My cameras create enough clutter underwater so there are 3 things in particular I look for in the diving equipment I use: simplicity, reliability and good design.
Halcyon equipment is the best I have found to meet these criteria – eveything is out of the way until I need it, and when I do need it, it works flawlessly. |

I have been using Halcyon equipment since around 1998. I bought my Explorer 40lb when the first batch came into the UK. It is still going strong today.
Halcyon started making the equipment that technical divers wanted at a time when no other manufacturer would entertain the clean and simplistic ideas behind the configuration. I have not forgotten the risk that they took with that business venture, and continue to support their innovative and effective designs. As a professional Technical Diving Instructor and expedition diver the most important attributes of any piece of equipment is functionality and durability. This is especially important in primary equipment that directly affects the outcome of the safety of a given dive or dive operation.
