Protective flange offers reduced turning resistance and less stress on sealing o-ring

- Smooth operation of valves, requiring only about 1 1/2 turns to open/close
- Valve stem has radial seal o-ring with split backup washer, reducing wear and effort during turning
- Soft rubber knobs for greater impact resistance and easier turning
