The Halcyon buoyancy compensator is designed to meet the demands of any diving environment. Carefully tailored shapes support reduced drag and greater in-water efficiency across our entire line of buoyancy compensators. The Halcyon Quick-adjust harness sets a new standard in recreational and technical BC systems. The Cinch (patent pending) can be used with single or double tanks and allows easy harness adjustability while avoiding “quick-release” buckles and dangling webbing. Simply push or pull the webbing and your size adjustment is complete. This quick, easy-fit system allows divers to size a snug harness without compromising easy removability. It is also ideal for student training and rental departments, or for divers that wear suits of varying thickness. The system is easily adjustable in or out of the water, making it ideal for convenient, in-water equipment removal. The Cinch is also very effective during emergency situations.

Your Halcyon deluxe padding is specially designed to allow exceptional comfort without sacrificing any of the features you have come to expect from Halcyon. Shoulder mounted D-rings can easily be moved to the desired location without affecting the Halcyon shoulder pad. Meanwhile, a specially designed backplate pad provides exceptional comfort without sacrificing adjustability or the utility of the Halcyon storage pocket.

This patented Halcyon design is simple and effective; when complemented by our fixed and removable ballast options, these pockets fine tune system weighting while supporting stability and diving comfort.

Halcyon Trim Weights

Halcyon tank-mounted trim weight pockets are yet another novel Halcyon invention. This patented product supports optimal weight distribution, encouraging diving comfort and in-water stability. While at the surface, Halcyon trim weights promote a heads-up position, counteracting the positive tendency of buoyant cylinders. These same weights support a horizontal position while under water, reducing effort and encouraging diving fun.

Weighted Single-Tank Adapter

Divers who are able to remove unnecessary weight from their waist enjoy greater comfort and better in-water position. The Halcyon weighted single-tank adapter places an additional six pounds between the backplate and single cylinder, removing weight from your waist and encouraging a more comfortable in-water position. The weight is easily removed during travel or when less weight is required.

Halcyon Backplate

As with most Halcyon products, an immense amount of behind-the-scenes work is required to create a plate we are proud to sell. Halcyon backplates have been refined over the years to provide the highest-quality finish and materials available. Small details like the unique bends near the bottom of the plate create an ergonomic curve, increasing diver comfort. Meanwhile our precise fabrication process ensures the quality you have come to expect from Halcyon. Each Halcyon backplate is cut from the highest quality stainless steel and sophisticated CNC machines mill every edge; this detailed process eliminates the sharp edges common with competitors’ plates. Machine polishing is augmented by individual handwork, perfecting both form and function.

Halcyon Storage Pak

The Halcyon backplate pocket is the most efficient means to store any of the various Halcyon inflatable markers with ease. Stowing your favorite lift device in a Halcyon Storage Pak provides a hassle-free storage place without compromising the ability for rapid deployment. The Pak bolts directly onto your backplate and the downward-facing pocket can even be used to stow the 6-ft. long Diver’s Life Raft.

Explorer Knife

Our newest knife features an angled sheath for greater comfort and a streamlined design, ideal for environments where every inch of profile counts. The Explorer Knife with our unique angled sheath has been to the end of the line in Wakulla and in the hands of several key WKPP cave divers with excellent reviews.

Halcyon "H" Knife

The titanium Halcyon "H" knife consistently proves to be one of our most popular accessories. The sturdy nylon pocket mounts on the waistband of the Secure Harness and is always within easy reach. The Halcyon knife sheath wraps around the knife’s handle with overlaying Velcro straps to secure the blade during a dive.

Harness Pocket

The Halcyon harness pocket is perfect for the diver with too many things and no place to stow them. This pocket can be used to augment Halcyon pockets secured to the diver’s suit; it is also perfect as a stand-alone pocket to stow all your favorite items. The pocket installs easily to the diver’s waist belt.
